Lodge Activities and Community Projects
Kagitingan Lodge always has an active program of Lodge business, Masonic education, community projects, and social events.
Our activities in 2007 are outlined below (see Lodge History for details of activities
in other years).
Kagitingan Lodge: Review of the Year 2006
2006 was another good year for Kagitingan Lodge.
Kagitingan Lodge was awarded Most Outstanding Lodge in Masonic District NCR-G
and, of course, Worshipful Master Emmanuel R. Bravo was awarded Most Outstanding Worshipful Master in Masonic District NCR-G
In addition, our Immediate Past Master Worshipful Inspector Edito C. Granda was awarded Most Outstanding Grand Lodge
Inspector in Masonic District NCR-G.
Officers and members
The 18th Public Installation of Officers was held at
Jacobo Zobel Masonic Temple on Saturday 14th January, 2006. (More photos
needed.)
During the year, nine candidates were raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Our members were very active
and the finances of the Lodge strengthened.
Officers and members of Kagitingan Lodge No 286 participated actively in the 90th ANCOM in Cebu City during April 2006,
in the Multi-District Convention on 18th November 2006 and in other District meetings and events.
Lodge Activities
The Lodge held its 8th Kagitingan Foundation Golf Tournament on 12th May 2006. At a Humanitarian Mission at Sito Masigasig
Taguig City on 24th June 2006, 189 children were immunized for anti-diphtheria and anti-polo. Free medical consultations were given and
relief goods distributed to fire victims at the said place.
A blood donation project was conducted at General Job Mayo Hall, NCRPO
on 26th June 2006 in collaboration with Masonic Districts E and NCR-G an Marikina Lodge no 119, Philippine Children's Medical Center,
Department of Health, and Regional Health Service, NCRPO.
On 12th December 2006 the Lodge donated nearly P20,000 to provide relief for victims of Typhoon Reming in Bicol province.
A relaxing family day was held on 26th November 2006 at the Green Country Resort in Maycauayan. Our Christmas Party was
celebrated poolside on 2nd December 2007 at the RSAU Resort, NCRPO Camp, Bicutan, Taguig City.
