Kagitingan Lodge
Kagitingan Lodge No. 286 is a Blue Lodge, or Craft Lodge, of Free and Accepted Master Masons operating under the
Jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons
of the Philippines, District NCR-G.
The word "kagitingan" translates into English as "courage" or "valor". Every year, "Araw ng Kagitingan" (Valor Day)
is celebrated in the Philippines as a public holiday. The day is dedicated to the ideals of freedom, unity and progress, and
is similar to Veterans Day in the United States or Memorial Sunday in the United Kingdom. Tributes and homage are given to
those who fought to defend freedom - especially during the Second World War.
Stated Meetings
